According to Fichajes, Tottenham Hotspur are plotting a surprise move for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin in the summer of 2025.
Calvert-Lewin is not hitting the heights at Everton
Calvert-Lewin has struggled to fulfil his potential over the last few years, having spent a lot of time on the sidelines with injuries.
The 27-year-old is into the final year of his contract at Goodison Park and it is suggested that he could leave his boyhood club at the end of the season as he wants a fresh start elsewhere.
Tottenham are allegedly ready to pounce and could look to tie up an agreement with the England international if he does not agree a new deal with Sean Dyche’s men.
Tottenham are interested in Dominic Calvert-Lewin
It is explained that the Lilywhites want to add more firepower to their frontline and see Calvert-Lewin as someone who ticks all the boxes to lead the line.
The publication adds that Ange Postecoglou’s men want the Toffees star to offer competition to the club’s record signing Dominic Solanke.
The report does not mention what such a move would mean for the future of former Everton striker, Richarlison, who Spurs signed from the Merseyside club two years ago.
