The Kansas City Chiefs are in the market for a new pass catcher, as the news on wide receiver Rashee Rice has been unfavorable.
“As of now, it appears there is only a small chance that the electric second-year player can possibly return this season,” Ian Rapoport of NFL Network reported about Rice on Saturday, October 5. The Chiefs also remain without Marquise “Hollywood” Brown, a speedy deep threat whom they acquired over the offseason but who has yet to play a regular-season snap with the team due to a shoulder injury. Kansas City is still 4-0 ahead of its Monday Night Football matchup against the New Orleans Saints, despite the injuries to arguably the best two wideouts on the roster and a slow start to the year for star tight end Travis Kelce.
Multiple reports indicate that the Chiefs are involved in trade discussions for a new receiver and were betting favorites to reunite with Miami Dolphins star playmaker Tyreek Hill late in the week. As of Friday, October 4, Sportsbetting.ag listed Kansas City as the odd-on favorite to deal for Hill at +350. Hill played for the Chiefs for the first six years of his career, earning Pro Bowl honors in every campaign as well as a Super Bowl ring alongside QB Patrick Mahomes.
Kansas City traded Hill to the Dolphins ahead of the 2022 campaign due to financial concerns, yet was still able to win the next two Super Bowls without him. That said, Hill’s NFL colleagues voted him the best player in the league ahead of this season, something he’s been unable to prove after a concussion during Week 2 sidelined quarterback Tua Tagovailoa and derailed Miami’s high-powered offense. Hill is currently playing on a three-year, $90 million deal that keeps him under contract through 2026.

Chiefs’ Travis Kelce Gets Shocking Lucrative Job Offer Outside Of Football
The Kansas City Chiefs have started their title defense with a perfect 4-0 record through four weeks. Kansas City, however, hasn’t won in their typical dominant fashion. Each win this year so far this year has finished in a one possession game.
Tight end Travis Kelce having a slow start to the year could be contributing to that. Kelce has been one of the best tight ends in the league for years and he is cementing himself as one of the best ever.

The star tight end still has plenty going on off the field, having made his acting debut in Ryan Murphy’s ‘Grotesquerie’ series on FX. He is also expected to have a role in the ‘Happy Gilmore’ sequel, which has been confirmed for production by Netflix.
Kelce plays the character Ed Laclan, A.K.A. Eddie, in the aforementioned series. Eddie’s stripper background was revealed in the fourth episode, which prompted a male dance show operating out of Vegas called Thunder Down Under to offer him an opportunity to relive his character’s past.
“I think the audience would go wild for a little NFL meets thunder magic!” co-owner Adam Steck told TMZ.
“Travis Kelce can rock his banana hammock on our stage.” Kings of Hustler general manager Brittany Rose said. “I’m sure that all the Vegas Swifties will want to catch a glimpse of what Taylor is working with behind the scenes. You know he’s given her a private show.”
