NFL free agency: Patriots are releasing David Andrews. Keep up with all the moves.

Happy new year — new league year, that is.

The NFL marked the official start of the 2025-26 league year at 4 p.m. Wednesday, meaning deals agreed to during the free-agent negotiation period can be signed.

Could the Patriots continue to make more moves? We’ll have live updates through Thursday. Follow along.

⋅ New England is signing linebacker Harold Landry to three-year, $43.5 million deal. They also re-signed TE Austin Hooper.

⋅ The Patriots made a huge splash on the defense line, adding perhaps the best overall free agent available in DT Milton Williams, one of the stars of the Eagles’ Super Bowl run.

⋅ Finally, an offensive lineman: the Patriots are signing tackle Morgan Moses from the Jets on a three-year, $24 million deal.

New England signed a veteran corner to play opposite Christian Gonzalez, bringing in Carlton Davis on a three-year, $60 million deal.

⋅ A heavy reshaping of the defense continued with LB Robert Spillane, who will reunite with Mike Vrabel in New England. The Patriots also added some defensive tackle depth in Khyiris Tonga.

⋅ The Patriots finally moved for a receiver late in the day, picking up former Bills WR Mack Hollins on a two-year deal. They also added some depth for the QB room with veteran quarterback Joshua Dobbs.

⋅ DT Davon Godchaux will be traded from the Patriots to the Saints after he requested the opportunity to seek a deal.

⋅ The Patriots are parting ways with one of their franchise cornerstones, releasing center and longtime captain David Andrews.
