11/02 – Shukurat Oladipo joins Serie A Roma
AS Roma have confirmed the signing of Nigerian defender Shukurat Damilola Oladipo on a contract running until June 2027.
The 20-year-old joins the Serie A Femminile side from Nigerian club Robo FC, where she amassed 178 appearances. Oladipo rose to prominence after an impressive showing at the U20 Women’s World Cup in Colombia, featuring in all four matches for the Falconets. Her performances earned her a senior Super Falcons call-up, debuting in a friendly against Algeria before appearing as a substitute against France in a 2-1 loss.

Former Golden Eaglets midfielder Ikenna Ferdinand has completed a move to Ukrainian side Kryvbas Football Club from Bulgarian outfit Levski Sofia.
Ferdinand was part of Nigeria’s squad at the 2019 FIFA U-17 World Cup, playing alongside talents like Akinkunmi Amoo and Hamzat Ojediran, who now represents RC Lens in France.
