OAKLAND, Calif. (KGO) – In a tragic turn of events, Wayne Shaw, the 61-year-old brother of renowned rapper Too $hort, was killed in a shooting in Oakland on Wednesday morning. According to reports from The Mercury News, Shaw died during an attempted robbery at a marijuana grow house located on the 1200 block of 49th Avenue.

The shooting occurred as robbers targeted the grow house, but the heist quickly went wrong, resulting in Shaw’s fatal injury.
