Dundee United B will conclude their SPFL Reserve Cup Group One campaign this afternoon as they face Falkirk B at the Falkirk Stadium. The match kicks off at 2pm, marking an important final fixture for United in the competition.

Currently sitting third in Group One, Dundee United B have accumulated two points from their first two matches. Their campaign began with a hard-fought 1-1 draw against Dundee B, but they triumphed 5-4 in a penalty shootout to earn the bonus point. However, their hopes of progressing further were dampened in their second match when they suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Dunfermline B at Foundational Park. A late goal from Jake Sutherland proved to be the difference, leaving United with no points from the match.

As they head into the final fixture, Dundee United B will be looking to finish on a high note, knowing they need a positive result to strengthen their position in the group. Falkirk B, on the other hand, have been solid competitors in the competition and will provide tough opposition for the United youngsters.

Supporters eager to attend the match can do so free of charge, with entry permitted at the Falkirk Stadium. For fans unable to make the trip, updates will be available on Dundee United’s official X feed, with live updates on the starting XI, score, and key match moments, including half-time and full-time scores.

The match is a vital one for United as they look to gain momentum ahead of the remainder of their reserve league fixtures. Although they are mathematically out of contention for top spot in the group, the young Terrors will be keen to finish strong and build confidence for their future challenges.

Tuesday’s encounter promises to be an exciting conclusion to their SPFL Reserve Cup campaign as both teams aim to end their group stages on a positive note.
